CB Insurance, LLC Sales Executive
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: This is a sales position, with the primary responsibility of generating new insurance clients, retaining current clients and cross-selling with other affiliates of CB Insurance. In this role, you are an aggressive marketer of our services and also a consultant, required to provide the best in insurance counsel to your prospects and clients. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four year college education recommended.
- Designations such as CIC, CPCU, ARM or on-gong study for such certifications a plus.
- Previous sales and/or technical experience in the insurance field is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The principle duty of this position is to grow and retain your insurance client base through aggressive sales, marketing and affiliate cross sell activities. In performing these duties, you will collect and analyze information about each clients risk exposures and provide appropriate risk management and insurance products, services and counsel.
- You are responsible for promoting effective and mutually beneficial business relationships with our insurance carrier partners. This includes providing complete and accurate submission information and cursory field underwriting for said carriers.
- You are responsible for achieving the production goals as established by the Company. Pipeline reports of sales and prospecting activity will be required on a monthly basis.
- You are expected to constantly improve in your insurance and risk management knowledge through on-going continuing education classes and through the participation in and achievement of various industry wide designations.
- You are also responsible to be knowledgeable of insurance company and state insurance regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines as may be promulgated and to conduct yourself in accordance with the company’s mission and vision statements.
