Steve joined Central Bancorp in July of 2006 as a member of their leadership team to head up their sales, marketing and branding efforts. Prior to joining Central Bancorp, Steve was the President and Regional Managing Director for Acordia Mountain West, Inc. This nine state region consisted of ten profit centers and over $400MM in insurance and employee benefits premiums. Steve was responsible for all aspects of this regions performance and growth strategies.

Before his promotion to the regional post, Steve was the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Acordia’s Colorado operations. During his tenure, the office improved, both in size and performance and was awarded Acordia’s “Office of the Year” in 2003. Steve joined Acordia’s Cincinnati office in 1995 and rose to become their Senior Vice President and Commercial Manager over the next five years.

Steve’s community involvement in Colorado Springs includes board positions with Colorado Springs Assets for Youth and Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation. Steve became Vice Chairman of the EDC in 2005 and is the Chairman of the Board through August of 2007. Prior to Colorado Springs, Steve was President Elect of the Cincinnati Insurance Board and also a board member of the Greater Cincinnati Council on Child Abuse.
